Marketplace role

Abcwed provides the software marketplace where clients and freelancers can post work, review profiles, communicate, and manage payment or milestone events. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Abcwed is not the employer of freelancers and is not a direct party to the service contract between users.

Account accuracy and eligibility

Users must provide accurate identity, contact, and profile information, must be legally able to use the service, and must comply with applicable law in the UAE. Accounts created with misleading identity or false role information may be suspended or removed.

Job posts, offers, and engagement

Clients are responsible for the scope, location, budget, and lawfulness of each request they post. Freelancers are responsible for confirming they can complete the work safely, lawfully, and to the agreed standard before accepting or continuing an engagement.

Licences, permits, and regulated work

Some services in the UAE may require trade licences, permits, building approvals, or role-specific regulatory compliance. The platform does not replace these requirements. Clients and freelancers remain responsible for checking whether the job needs a licence, permit, visa, insurance, or other legal approval.

Payments, escrow, and disputes

Where platform payment controls or escrow flows are used, release decisions follow the workflow shown in the product. Fraud, abuse, chargeback risk, or unresolved disputes may result in delayed release, holds, reversal, or administrative review.

Prohibited conduct

Users may not use the marketplace for fraud, harassment, unlawful hiring, identity misuse, malware distribution, unauthorised scraping, off-platform payment evasion where prohibited by platform rules, or any attempt to bypass moderation, audit, or security controls.

Platform moderation and enforcement

We may review reports, verify identity information, remove content, limit access, request resubmission of verification material, or suspend accounts where safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or marketplace integrity requires it.

Liability and availability

Abcwed is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, the platform is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from user-to-user service delivery, missed appointments, freelancer performance, or third-party provider failures.
